New help line for students

New Delhi: The state education department has launched a 24-hour helpline to help students on issues related to exam, career, and relationship etc. Professional counselor at toll free number 1800116888 shall answer the student’s queries. The helpline is joint effort of state education department and NACO.

Depression is commonly observed in students during examination and before the results are declared. Students suffer with depression if they score low in examination than expected or sometimes it is parental or peer pressure. At times, when exam results of different boards are about to declare, the helpline will be extremely helpful to students, parents and educators.
