AICTE have come out with an advertisement announcing that instead of GATE a new Test Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test has been introduced for admission in Master’s programme in Pharmacy (M.Pharma) and also for awarding fellowships/scholarships to Pharmacy graduate along with engineering graduates.

Accordingly, a National Monitoring Committee (NMC) was constituted for monitoring the issues pertaining to the policy as well as conduct of GPAT.

NMC, constituted by AICTE has recommended for conduct of 1^st GPAT i.e. GPAT-2010 by the M.S. university of Baroda, Vadodara-390002, which has agreed to conduct the examination on May 02, 2010 throughout the country.
