XAT 2010 will be conducted on 3^rd January 2010 in the following 33 cities for for Academic Programmes offered at XLRI -Two year Post Graduate Programmes in (i) Business Management (ii) Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

There are more than 60 Management Institutes who are selecting students from XAT 2010. XAT bulletin and XLRI prospectus will be available from Axis Bank XAT office/admission office after online registration from 01 September, 2009 to 30 November 2009

Specific Admit Card will be generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper-Pencil (Offline Test) and for the Computer Based Online Test.

Admit Card would be having Candidate Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to them in the case of Computer Based Online Test.

TANCET 2009 Notification Out – Application Forms from April 1

Anna University (Chennai) will conduct the 2009 edition of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) on May 30 and 31. It is mandatory for students aspiring to join MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, M.Arch and MPlan postgraduate degree courses to appear for the TANCET.

TANCET Application Forms will be available from April 1, 2009

The completed application forms should reach The Secretary, TANCET, Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025 on or before 25.04.2009

India’s noted management education capability has got another name to contend with — Indian School of Business, a Hyderabad-based business school that has been ranked among the top 20 such institutions by Financial Times, London reports the ET.

ISB is the first business school from India to have found a place in the FT rankings. None from the premier Indian B-schools from the Indian Institute of Management stable has ever made it to this list, which has ranked ISB as 20th best globally.

“While the average student experience at ISB is 5 years, the IIMs have students with a lesser experience, as such, the two are non-comparable,” ISB Dean M Rammohan Rao said in a statement.

“We wish to see many more Indian B-schools follow the trend and reach where we are today, or even ahead of us,” he added.

ISB has affiliations with three of the world’s renowed business schools – Kellogg School of Management, The Wharton School and London Business School, and 5 per cent of its total student intake consists of international students.
