CAT 2007 - Pattern Same as 2006
In 2006, there had been a considerable shift in pattern of CAT. Though the total number of questions for each of the three sections (verbal, data interpretation and quantitative aptitude) has gone down, each question has more options now. In CAT 2006, there was a change in negative marking. While till 2005 it was 33%, it was reduced to 25% last year.
This Year (2007) Common Admission Test (CAT) for admission into MBA programs at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) followed exactly the same pattern and format as it did in 2006. 75 questions, 25 in each section, 4 marks for a correct answer and minus 1 for a wrong answer.
Various Coaching Institutes are busy working on the Analysis of the CAT 2007 paper.
