West bengal SSC to issue online Admit Cards

West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) examination, the commission will issue online admit cards.

Candidates can log on to the commission’s website www.westbengalssc.com to get a duplicate admit card after January 12. In such cases, the candidate will have to carry photo identity proof to the examination centre.

Duplicate Admit Cards shall be issued to the eligible candidates only, in person, who have not received the same and who could not find their photographs/ correct photographs on their Admit Cards provided they report to the concerned Regional Commissions along with TWO copies of Stamp-sized Photographs, Candidates copy of the relevant receipt received from the concerned Bank and relevant records, testimonials and proof of their candidature as per the following schedule. The eligible candidates shall not be allowed to enter the Examination Venue without valid photograph on the Admit card.

To know their application status, candidates can send an SMS to 57333 after writing ‘fwbssc’ and the form number. This information can also be accessed through the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) of various cellular service providers, operational from January 10.

KOLKATA: The West Bengal School Service Commission examination would be conducted on 20 January 2008.

Following a delay in the distribution of admit cards to the examinees, West Bengal School Serve Commission (WBSSC) decided to postpone the examination. This year onwards the admit cards would contain a scanned copy of the address written by candidates on the application forms, in their own hand-writing.
