Common Admission Test (CAT) 2009 Application Dates

Indian Institute of Management have come out with the advertisement  for CAT 2009.

Sale of vouchers starts on Wednesday, 9 September 2009 at designated bank branches and their associate outlets. The sale ends on Thursday, 1 October 2009.

Once you buy the scratch voucher, Online registration for CAT 2009 will also begin on Wednesday, 9 September 2009 and end on Thursday, 1 October 2009. Instructions on access to online registration will be given in the voucher, and, detailed registration instructions will be on the CAT IIM website.

Yes, you can choose a test date, test time, and venue across thirty cities all over India. But only subject to availability! So it is in your best interest to schedule your exam ASAP. Naturally, choose exam center that is in your city or closest your city.

CAT 2009 Advertisement on August 30 – U need to apply online

The Indian Institute(s) of Management (IIMs) finally decide to conduct the Common
Admission Test (CAT) online. Almost three lakh students seeking admission into
IIMs in November this year will be able to appear for the Common Admission Test
online , as India’s premier management institutes seek to transform the over
three-decade-old examination system and provide more flexibility to IIM
aspirants by adopting an internet-based system

CAT Advertisement will appear in leading newspapers on Sunday, 30 August 2009.
