Indian Institute of Managements invited applications for The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011 .
CAT 2011 will be conducted over a 20-day testing window between Saturday, 22 October and Friday, 18 November 2011.
CAT 2010 testing window (i.e. the number of Days) presently has been extended to make available students a wider range of dates. Prometric says that it will decrease the number of CAT centers percity to ascertain a lot better student-experience.

The Indian Institute(s) of Management (IIMs) finally decide to conduct the Common
Admission Test (CAT) online. Almost three lakh students seeking admission into
IIMs in November this year will be able to appear for the Common Admission Test
online , as India’s premier management institutes seek to transform the over
three-decade-old examination system and provide more flexibility to IIM
aspirants by adopting an internet-based system
CAT Advertisement will appear in leading newspapers on Sunday, 30 August 2009.
