Schedule for On-line application
(i) Start of On-line submission of application form and fee deposit through bank challan: 25.08.2009
(ii) Date of close of on-line submission and deposit of fee (at all stations): 23.09.2009
Last date of receipt of completed application forms including duly completed hard copy of on line application in the examination unit: 29.09.2009

Next UGC NET 2009 Exam on June 28
The University Grants Commission announces holding of the National Eligibility Test (NET) on 28th June, 2009 (Sunday) for determining the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship in Indian universities and colleges. UGC will conduct NET in 77 (seventy seven) subjects (listed under item no. 9) at 66 (sixty six) selected University Centres (listed under Item no. 10) spread across the country.

ICMR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Entrance Exam Notification 2009 has come out
ICMR in collaboration with PGIMER, Chandigarh will hold a National level examination on Sunday, July 12th 2009 for determining the eligibility of Indian National candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) through Indian Council of Medical Research. The award of Junior Research Fellowship to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding placement in a medical college / hospital / university / national laboratory / institution of higher learning and research as applicable.
